Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Accountabilities:
Will be required to work with suppliers and growers to develop a sound working relationship. Promoting the business of Sharpe Farm Supplies. Focus on sales while monitoring supplier programs for value and economics.
Assets:
Previous experience in the ag-retail business would be an asset. Completion of interest in the Certified Crop Advisor program. Knowledge of I.P. soybean and grain marketing programs. An active interest/participant in community events.

Skills & Requirements
Required:
Respond to customers' inquiries quickly. Utilize resources and support to offer quotes and close sales. Must be energetic, motivated and a self-starter. Farm calls to customer prospects and maintenance for current clientele. Flexible hours to meet the needs of seasonal demands.
Have a keen understanding of business and agriculture. Strong computer skills are a must. The completion of a degree/diploma in agriculture or a combination of experience and education is an asset. The ability to learn and acquire licenses or permits as deemed necessary. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a high paced environment. Ability to multi-task in a busy workplace.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
Experience:
- Outside sales: 1 year (preferred)
- agriculture: 1 year (preferred)
